World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrading of your equipment is a vital part of equipping your character. Upgrades increase the base damage and the enchantments of items.
They also offer rewards and upgrades. The Blacksmith can sell them to you.
Players can recycle any item by pressing the upgrade button on it. Each item recycled adds a level to the gauge for upgrading.
Weapon
When a weapon gets upgraded, it gets an initial damage bonus as well as an increase in the scaling factor that affects other stats. The weapon could also be upgraded with a number of upgrade components, which provide additional features or effects as well as unique cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be put into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools, and they generally require that the equipment have an upgrade slot that is available and meet certain requirements. The upgrade component can be removed from an armored weapon, weapon or trinket, however it is not replaced. (Except for legendary equipment). Upgrade components can be retrieved using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or an Ascended Salvage Tool, or using a high-tier salvage tool on the item itself.
A weapon can also be upgraded to include a calibration attribute that boosts certain stats, like Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This is accomplished through the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. This can be repeated four times depending on the weapon level.
Once the weapon has reached its maximum level of improvement, it can then be reforged to add different bonuses and effects, or to improve specific stats. Several of these upgrades can be applied at once, and the effects vary depending on the quality of the weapon.
There are two Blacksmiths in the game who can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area and Smithing Master Iji in the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. The upgrade materials are both different: Smithing Stones to modify the damage weapons deal and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the standard weapons.
In general, it's advisable to increase the damage of your weapon first. Then you can improve your armour defense and, finally the secondary stats required by your build. In particular, it is common to see melee druids enhancing their weapon before any other gear, as this will increase DPS. This is especially true for enchantments, which can be extremely effective in boosting the weapon's damage and other stats.
Armor
Item Upgrades let players enhance the base stats of certain armor pieces, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools. These upgrades can also bring additional effects, like more damage or cosmetic enhancement. Item Upgrades can be obtained by crafting, purchasing from NPC vendors, through loot drops or as quest rewards.
The armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC and spending appropriate currencies. Most armor will upgrade to the next level after an upgrade. This can be done for all types of armor, however certain items are not upgradeable in any way (such as the armor used to start in Great Sky Island).
Most armor upgrades increase the item's defense or strength by a small amount. Certain upgrades, however, could result in significant improvements in strength or defense. This is especially the case when upgrading epic items.
Certain upgrades offer special abilities which can be activated while wearing armor. These abilities can be extremely beneficial in combat. For example they can boost the speed of attack or block. Certain upgrades can have effect that are passive and can be useful for example, the ability to reduce damage while wearing armor or enhancing the chance of avoiding an attack.
Upgrades to armor could require multiple attempts, depending on the type. If a player wishes to upgrade Steelclash armor into Dragonscale, then the first attempt will result in a new Dragonscale armor that has the defense base ranging from 59 to 67. The second attempt will result in a Dragonscale armor with a base defense of between 67 and 77.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild allows players to upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To do this players must visit each of the four locations referred to as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. upgrade item of these locations contains a powerful fair who can improve a piece of armor for you.
Contrary to popular belief, armor is not useless in The Division 2. The reality is that certain armors provide significant increases in poison or curse, fire or magic damage reduction, making them very useful for certain builds. There are other methods to increase the strength of armor apart from upgrading the armor, like using the engineer trait to increase armor penetrating or the challenger trait to decrease the total weight.
Potion
A potion can be upgraded by placing it in a brewing stand to unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks a new tier of potion effect, and can be repeated to unlock more tiers of potency.
The potions also gain a custom color, which can be chosen by the player using the /give. The color affects the effect clouds' area-of-effect as well as the arrows that are generated. In Bedrock Edition, the custom color of the potion also affects the potions' particle effects.
The water bottle, the mundane and thick potions and awkward potions now have a new texture when they are brewed. Add potion of weakness and healing potion to the Creative inventory. Added lingering potions that can be prepared using dragon breath or splash potions and a thick pot with the status effect of Mining Fatigue (duration 4:00). Trinket
A trinket can be an inexpensive, small ornament or piece jewelry. It can be a necklace or ring. Or, it could be a tiny banner used to mark the yard of a boat. It could also be a reference to a gilded trinket on the mast of a vessel.
This macabre trinket is believed to be influencing the inhabitants of this maze and making them more popular. This trinket, at present, makes all kinds of Xx of mimics more common and gives each floor a Y% chance that it contains an ebony-colored replica. Upgrades to this trinket will cost an amount of energy.
The enchanted Scepter's magic appears to affect the dungeon, increasing its likelihood of generating water and grass. This trinket, at its current level, will cause X% of the regular floors to be filled with water or grass. It will not alter glyphs, enchantments, cursed weapons or armor, or other items that are created to solve the dangers in rooms.
While it appears like a normal newt's eye, this mystical item seems to be affecting your vision in ways beyond simply reducing your field of view. This trinket, at its current level, increases the health benefits of drinking healing potion and wells of life by X% and gives you mind-sight on enemies within Y tile. This trinket cannot be combined with the Increased Senses.
After you have completed the Mastery Cave, you can find Trinkets by defeating Monsters and inside chests and crates in Skull Cavern. They are not in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
Place the trinket into the Anvil whenever it is required to be upgraded. This will cause an unpredictable effect on the trinket either extending its lifespan or strengthening its effects. You can reorge an item multiple times as often as you want, though it will always have a different effect than the one that it had when you made it.
You can also improve your Trinkets by putting them in a magical catalyst at the Alchemy Station. This will cost 6 energy, but increase the power of the trinkets by a tiny amount.
